Fingerprint Archiving

What Is Vault ID?

Vault ID is a secure, enterprise-level solution for fingerprint information storage on our web server, designed to meet the stringent security needs of our clients.

Developed by our partners at PrintScan, Vault ID provides a dedicated tenancy service that allows clients to securely store their records in their own "containers" within our server, ensuring separation from the broader database.

Vault ID offers a reliable method for archiving electronic fingerprint files, which can be used for various purposes.

Hard Card Printing On Demand

Ideal for out-of-state licensing and international requests.

One-Time Fingerprinting, Lifetime Use

Fingerprint archiving is a highly valued service, especially for individuals requiring multiple state licenses or clearances. Once your fingerprints are archived, you won’t need to submit multiple sets of ink fingerprints repeatedly.

To retrieve your archived fingerprints, simply email or call us with your request, specifying the number of cards you need and your shipping preferences. We offer standard FBI (FD-258) and FINRA cards, and if you require state-specific cards, you can mail them to our office for same-day printing and return.

Please note that hard cards may not be accepted in certain states, where live scan services may be required due to exclusive fingerprint contracts.

Security You Can Trust

At Morrissette Legal Services, LLC, in partnership with PrintScan, we prioritize the security of your files by leveraging cloud technology.

Your fingerprint files are securely stored on Microsoft Azure’s Cloud Storage system. These files are encrypted and housed within Azure's highly secure facility, which is protected by 24/7 surveillance and armed security guards.

Following FBI guidelines, dual authentication provides an extra layer of security, requiring users to enter a username, password, and a secondary 6-digit pin sent via email or text.

Microsoft Azure Cloud Security

Microsoft Azure employs state-of-the-art security technologies and practices, ensuring the resilience of its infrastructure and the protection of user data through encryption, multi-factor authentication, and proactive threat management.

Azure controls identity and user access through Azure Active Directory with multi-factor authentication, encrypts communications and processes, and offers robust encryption capabilities, up to AES-256. The platform also secures networks by connecting virtual machines and on-premises data centers securely, and utilizes tools such as intrusion detection, DDoS prevention, penetration testing, and machine learning to mitigate threats.
